Following the immense fun we had at our Year-End Kart Day and due to popular request, we’re organizing anotherKart Day on Sunday, 24 January 2010.

For those who missed out last time, make sure you come for this one!

The track is located at:

Universiti Utara Malaysia, 06010 UUM Sintok, Kedah Darul Aman, Malaysia

There are 2 types of kart for rent:

1) Fun Karts @ RM35 for 15 minutes

2) 125cc Karts @ RM50 for 15 minutes

Helmets are a MUST. Gloves are recommended.

We also recommend that you bring a spare t-shirt to change after you finish racing.

WEAR PROPER SPORTS SHOES – DON’T WEAR SLIPPERS/SANDALS/HEELS.

For those that do not have their own helmet, the track provides helmets for your use.

Kart Novices/Beginners:

For those who have never karted before, don’t worry – it’s a fun and simple thing to do.

BadBoyBen will conduct a simple briefing once we arrive at the track to teach all novices/beginners about the basics of karting.

Rendevous Point:

Drive-Thru McDonald’s @ Sunway Carnival, Seberang Jaya @ 11AM. We will grab some brunch then make our way to UUM.

THERE IS NO FOOD/DRINK AVAILABLE AT THE TRACK.

Convoy:

No matter what you have heard about or seen some of us doing, it is NOT a race to UUM. Drive at your own pace and within your own limits. We will meet again right after the Hutan Kampung toll in Alor Setar and make our way toUUM. It is basically a straight road all the way so it’s impossible to get lost unless you are retarded.

Dinner:

We will have a group dinner somewhere in Alor Setar/Kedah. Last time we had some really good Thai food so if no one has any objections maybe we will try to go there again.

Dinner is DUTCH and will probably cost around RM20-30 per person.

This Sunday, 27th December 2009, we’re making a trip to the go-kart track at the Universiti Utara Malaysia(UUM) in Kedah for a kart day.

We’ll be heading there in the afternoon, do a bit of karting then adjourn to a nearby Thai restaurant for dinner so for anyone who’s interested in joining us – please let us know.

Kart rental is RM35 for 15 minutes.

Dinner is dutch.

We recommend that you bring your own helmet.

Rendevous is at the drive-thru McDonald’s @ Sunway Carnival, Seberang Jaya at 2PM sharp.
